This is a great looking backpack that seems to be very well made and sturdy. It has multiple openings, storage and is roomy enough for all my cats, including the 14 lb'er.
The straps are strong, padded and there is a waist and chest cross body start for stability.
The zippers have locking handles so they can not be worked open by curious paws or simply come open during use. Inside there is an attached strap and buckle to hook to a harness for added safety.
The storage pocket is large and roomy.
I really like this as both a backpack for outings and a carrier for trips to the vet. My cats took right to it and I leave it out in my office all the time and they use it as a bed.
So spacious. Made very well. Straps are strong. Good structure while in use. Easy to clean. Pet is very secure inside.
We’re absolutely thrilled with this cat carrier backpack! We’ve wanted to take our cat on walks, but he’s not a fan of wearing a harness. This backpack is the perfect solution! He hops in on his own, ready for an adventure, and everyone in the family enjoys carrying him. It’s comfortable, convenient, and makes outings with our cat so much easier.
This Pecute Cat Carrier Backpack is well-made , from high quality materials. It has a durable nylon shell , and sturdy metal frame. The removeable and washable honeycomb bottom pad is an excellent bonus feature to have in case your pet has an accident. This is a great quality pet carrier.
This cat carrier is made of high-quality materials and has a well-thought-out design. It arrives folded. To set it up, all you need to do is insert a small rectangle piece into the bottom of the backpack to provide a supportive floor, then zip the sides together. It only takes a couple of minutes to be up and ready to go.
As soon as it was set up, the larger of our two cats (the cat that is too big for this carrier) decided to take up residence inside. Our smaller cat (who this is intended for) enjoys this carrier as well. There is plenty of venting with the various mesh windows, and I love that there is more than one way to get the cat in and out. There is also a strap with a clip at the bottom of the inside that you can attach to their collar if they have one.
It is incredibly comfortable to wear and distributes the weight evenly. Overall, this cat carrier is comfortable, sturdy, durable, well-designed, and cat-approved.
The pet carrier backpack is comfortable and the shoulder straps are well padded. The back of the carrier is well padded to prevent stress to the should blades and lower back. I found the materials sturdy and think some people will like the zip out mesh panels in the back.
The one thing I would caution people is that this is not for a large cat. The face of the cat in the photo looks like a ragdoll cat, and all the ragdolls I've known have been larger cats. When I saw the product picture, with an apparent ragdoll that appeared to have plenty of extra headroom in the photos, I thought it would have enough room for an even larger cat, my Maine Coon. I'm not taking off stars for the size that doesn't work for me because having a cat at the far end of the size spectrum, I totally should have measured him before getting this. However, I don't think it would be comfortable for any of the ragdoll cats I've known either. With a smaller base than a traditional cat carrier, a larger cat would have to sit up, and the height just isn't there for a large cat.
