I'm excited to try this pet basket out with our 15 pound dog. He's 13 years old but still loves bike rides in my rear basket. I hope to train him to use this front mounted basket as well. Unfortunately, the package didn't come with a left-side padded board. I got 2 right-sided boards.After installing it, we had trouble aligning the screws into the mounting brackets. Those 3m adhesive strips became cruicial for us to use. I suggest clearing your cockpit area and then finding the optimal position for the brackets because the basket will not hold a dog if you don't mount it properly. Also, the cable might need to either be cut or crimp a cable end onto it. The ends of the cable are sharp. We got our little dog to sit in it but are still trying to find the right position for the bracket mounts.
