Nice item. Our tiny dog doesn't ride in the boot, but our car does sometimes work hard. It's had bags of logs, cement, coal, and other building materials in the back. Sometimes too a couple of muddy children's ride-on toys. I always keep a couple of old curtains in the back as dust covers. The idea of a properly fitting boot protector was attractive.
The material is quilted and wipe-clean, and although I haven't had to wash it yet I don't foresee any problem with that. Fitment: the liner has a couple of loops with snap-catches which fit around the rear head restraints (or possibly just one leg of each restraint, depending on spacing). It then has Velcro patches to secure the sides. In our car, a Mazda 6 estate, the load area is finished in a fleece material. The Velcro attaches directly to this. However, for vehicles which perhaps have a hard liner there are matching Velcro strips. Peel off the backing and stick these on. I didn't need them. The liner isn't going to fit every car perfectly. On ours it doesn't quite conform to the wheel-arch recesses, but does none the less stay in place well. Overall it does a fine job of protecting the boot space, and can unclip and come out in just a few seconds if needed.
Very pleased.
